The Job
This position exists to support, and lead Procure to Pay (PTP) workstreams of Warner Bros. Discovery. This person will develop and deliver plans of action with the purpose of driving successful outcomes and effective customer relationships resulting in improved Procure to Pay processes and related working capital efforts. This role will have managerial responsibilities over a direct team performing tasks including but not limited to procure to pay processes, SOX compliance; dispute management, maintaining a robust controls environment and working closely with offshore BPO operations.
The Daily
• Provide oversite and functional leadership to the Procure to Pay Shared Service Center by leading end-to-end PTP processes and guiding global BPO services
• Identify and sponsor strategic initiatives aimed at improving the order to cash process, invoice accuracy, cash inflow, and reducing operational cost
• Collaborate cross functionally within the organization improve PTP processes and provide excellent service to internal and external customers
• Build strong relationships and work closely with finance, Treasury, BPO and operational leadership as it pertains to the organization and delivery of the order to cash process
• Manages key metrics to ensure compliance with service level agreements, KPI's and benchmarks against industry leaders
• Cultivates an environment that encourages maximum productivity and service effectiveness, professional development, open communication, and teamwork
The Essentials
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is preferred
• Fluent in English mandatory
• Minimum 15 years' experience in Accounting or Finance
• Accounts Receivable, Billing and Finance experience required
• Subject matter expert on PTP processes
• Experience leading a global and diverse team
• Experience developing and executing standard processes across a global organization
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
• Experience in the Media Industry and/or Media Sales is preferred
• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle
• Experience with Procurement systems such as Ariba, SRM
