Job Description
Functions as in-house Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Fire Protection (MEP &FP) expert in the Design & Construction team with emphasis on business mission critical systems, such as Generator/UPS plants, normal power and distribution, fire detection/suppression, lighting, power monitoring, Chiller plant and cooling distribution for all properties. Provides design review and best practice risk assessment analysis and project execution and MOP management oversight to protect business critical assets. Also, contributes to the D&C Center of Excellence as Mission Critical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Your Role Accountabilities
• Involvement in all MEP & FP projects nationally to varying degree based on project criticality. Primarily, act as in-house SME and interface directly with internal project team, business units, consultants and contractors from design to project closeout. Act as Project Manager for select projects or manage portions of a greater project where direct systems knowledge and expertise is crucial to maintaining risk, schedule and/or cost.
• Lead the development, review and execution oversight of construction related critical procedures (Method of Procedure).
• Coordinate and interface with Facilities Management, Business Units/end-users and other support teams such as corporate, security and technology.
• Lead the D&C Center of Excellence for Design & Construction of Mission Critical/Technical spaces & equipment, including promoting best practice in such items as risk / cost analysis, standardizing mission critical equipment, vendors and design. project administration, contract administration, standards and documentation.
• Contributes to regional capital planning budget with emphasis on MEP & FP projects.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years related experience in Mission Critical / Technical Facility Design & Construction or related fields
• 5+ years manage a team in a related design and / or construction industry
• Bachelor's degree required in related industry (architecture, engineering, design and construction management)
• Professional Engineer certification
• Electrical Professional certification

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $114,100.00 - $211,900.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
