Job Description
Reporting to the Executive Director Global Content Investment & Planning, the Director Global Content Planning & Analysis is responsible for managing elements of global greenlight strategy and analysis and operating the International greenlight process across WBD. The role requires a broad skillset, taking into account core content finance aspects as well as a deep understanding of content performance and monetization. It will also incorporate broader aspects of finance, strategy and operations. The Director will interact frequently with teams across all markets, business units and functions.

Your Role Accountabilities…

Understand local content strategies, budgets and investment slates
• Build view of content investment across WBD at the budget/slate/title level to support aspects of team workflow, providing additional context to global greenlight decision makers
• Understand investment plans alongside core financial KPIs, evolve insight and analysis alongside broader team.
• Build contextual information and update cycle to keep core decision makers connected to content pipeline.
• Develop close connection with markets and BUs across WBD, to ensure team is in touch with latest developments in content and wider business context.

Support global greenlight operations
• Take a lead role in evolving global standards and definitions. Ensure International process is in lock step with these standards, work with US team to achieve this.
• Build a vision for further evolution and development of International greenlight process.
• Monitor global thresholds and parameters, ensure these are evolved appropriately.
• Work with BUs and analytics team to identify and define key KPIs and definitions to be utilised in core greenlight analysis.
• Manage master PIC templates, roll through updates and changes as required; Liaise with BUs.
• On-board new teams and individuals to the process, ensure full understanding of materials.

Run International greenlight operations
• In close collaboration with the US based greenlight team, manage day to day greenlight process for International.
• Liaise with markets on upcoming slates for discussion, current and future greenlight requirements and timings.
• Work closely with the US team on meeting schedule, planning and process.
• Coordinate meeting materials, actions and data tracking.
• Ensure International teams are meeting all greenlight requirements, work with market teams on any gaps in process.
• Review and sense check submissions from markets, help improve quality of forecasting process, feed insights back into the process.

Develop global greenlight reporting and analytics, use data and insights to drive strategic content questions
• Develop, produce and distribute high quality global greenlight reporting and analytics.
• Anticipate needs of senior stakeholders, working with Global Content peers to evolve reporting and supplemental analytics to meet those needs.
• Be closely connected to greenlight analytics and metrics, thoroughly understand core drivers and value attribution.
• Ensure performance analytics are timely and insights can be fed back into the process e.g. providing insights around performance vs. actuals and related analysis.
Other
• Create high quality insights and illustrations to support related presentations, take lead on storylines and deck creation.
• Work with Global Content team to automate elements of greenlight process e.g. design, operationalisation and utilisation of greenlight apps and evolution of analytical tools.
• Understand content management and related finance systems to support day to day process.
• Provide support to ad hoc projects and questions as required.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
