Job Description
Job Summary: Responsible for managing TV Distribution (Linear, SVOD, AVOD) and Home Entertainment (TVOD, PPV) businesses in India, with direct sales responsibility and a focus on market growth. Additionally, supporting business planning and development activities in South Asia.

Job Responsibilities:
• Sales Management:
• Oversee TV and Home Entertainment sales in India, focusing on building and maintaining strong, sustainable client relationships.
• Hold direct sales responsibility for all platforms in India, including AVOD, SVOD, Linear, TVOD, PPV, FAST, etc.
• Budgeting and Planning:
• Manage Long Range Plan, Mid-Year Forecast, and Year-End Forecast Budgeting and Planning projects using the SMART interface.
• Monitor, analyze, and coordinate annual sales budgets and projections.
• Oversee the COSMOS database to ensure accurate control and monitoring of sales data inputs.
• Liaise with the International WBD team to ensure accurate sales data.
• Analyze revenue statistics and data to interpret sales trends.
• Account Management:
• Post-sales management of ''output/volume'' deals, including consultation with key clients on contractual obligations, title selections, reporting, and invoicing.
• Project Support:
• Assist the SVP with ad hoc projects relevant to clients, businesses, or regions.
• Leadership:
• Supervise the Sales Administration process within the sales support team.
• Lead and manage the sales support team, including the Assistant Manager.
• Business Collaboration:
• Work closely with the regional business lead to identify and develop potential business opportunities for content licensing.
• Maintain direct and supportive relationships with the Executive Sales Team, as well as the Marketing, Technical, and Distribution Departments.
• Client Management:
• Manage and review the client database.
• Undertake ad hoc research tasks and projects on a client basis.
• Closely monitor market trends and relevant domestic media activity.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Media, Communications, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in content licensing, acquisition, or a related field within the media and entertainment industry.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating and securing content deals with major content creators, producers, and distributors.
• Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including studios, production houses, and digital platforms.
• Proficiency in budgeting programs (SMART), SAP (COSMOS), and advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with sales forecasting databases, analytical tools, and research/statistics. Ability to create PowerPoint decks for business objectives.

Required Knowledge & Skills:
• Proactive and entrepreneurial self-starter capable of developing and implementing initiatives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Intelligence, strong business acumen, and strategic thinking. Ability to analyse, develop, and implement diverse business models/solutions for distributing programming across multiple TV and new media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to use persuasion and negotiation to achieve strategic goals in a highly matrixed environment.
• Effective influencer and team player who can collaborate with other divisions to make things happen.
• Knowledge of international media, online, and wireless business is required; familiarity with the video and/or television business is a plus.
• Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and tumultuous environment, adaptable and problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive, open, and growth-oriented mindset.
• Highly creative, innovative, analytical, and experienced in digital expertise.
