We seek a versatile, organized, and detailed Design Manager skilled in trend analysis, illustration, graphic design, character art, color theory, and typography.
The ideal candidate will lead their team through the full creative process, developing and driving creative strategy, and successfully translating stories into fashion-based graphics and assets. They will manage workloads and cross-functional relationships, embrace innovation, and take risks to elevate our brands. Strong team leadership, mentorship abilities, and project management skills are essential.

Your Role Accountabilities...
• Manage the development and execution of creative strategies set by the Creative Director.
• Craft and translate narratives into trend-right, world-class style guides and design kits, driving global product collections and experiences.
• Manage both internal creative teams and external vendors/agencies with proven expertise.
• Interpret current trends into relevant design concepts for a global audience.
• Create and art direct original vector-based illustrations and graphics.
• Ensure technical precision in preparing artwork for easy use by licensees, applicable to both hardlines and softlines product development.
• Communicate concepts and creative direction effectively to cross-functional partners and senior management.
• Expertly manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion with cross-functional alignment.
Qualifications & Experience...
Work Experience
• 6-8 years' experience in driving creative development with well-versed understanding of consumer products artwork needs.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• BA, BFA or 2 years technical college in a design discipline preferred
• Work and life experience demonstrated across a robust portfolio of strong story-telling creative is required
Knowledge/Skills
• Independently create, art direct, and drive asset development from concept to completion.
• Clearly communicate, present, and pitch creative visions and ideas.
• Art direct external vendors to produce art assets and guides.
• Lead a full portfolio of franchise creative, managing multiple priorities with agility and ensuring on-time delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior designers, providing continuous problem-solving support.
• Work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Self-starter with a tenacious attitude and strong work ethic.
• Awareness of competitive business landscapes.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Additional skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, and Adobe Dimensions.
• Experience with licensing business models is a plus.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $83,090.00 - $154,310.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
