The Job
Working as part of the EMEA localisation COE this role provides support for all finance admin tasks related to localisation, initially for EMEA Kids content and with potential to expand across other content types. The person is responsible for accurate creation and management of purchase orders and works closely with EMEA legal team to confirm on time receipt of AOR's to enable timely payment of invoices to vendors.
The Daily – Major Activities
• Raise purchase orders (PO's) in WBD's finance system for all dubbing and subtitle related orders. Liaise with the Senior Director for timely PO approval and send approved PO to localisation studios ahead of project kick off.
• Confirm successful receipt of contracted deliverables from vendors, to trigger payment of final invoices.
• Regularly liaise with localisation vendors on additional costs such as talent uplifts, song costs, media deliveries to ensure timely PO creation, accurate billing and on time payment.
• Manage PO creation and payment for other localisation related costs in line with WBD payment terms, including but not limited to freelance approvers, material sourcing, conforms, other ad hoc costs as requested by senior management.
• Manage finance tracker and work with AP on outstanding payments where applicable
The Essentials
• Experience working within a finance admin related role.
• Proficient in finance management tools such as Peoplesoft.
• Experience managing vendors.
• Proficient in Excel/Smartsheets.
• Ability to work on cross functional multi-cultural teams in a collaborative manner.
The Nice to Haves
• Experience with content localisation processes.
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
