Job Description
The Commercial Audience Executive will support the Ad Sales team in maximizing commercial ad revenues across our Streaming and Digital platforms. You will assist in building and packaging audiences across the WBD UK network, gaining valuable experience with audience data types and their role in supporting advertising campaigns in streaming environments. While prior knowledge of audience data and 1st party data collection is helpful, a willingness to learn and develop these skills is essential. You will also contribute to creating pre/post-sales materials and supporting sales strategies. The ideal candidate will be eager to build strong relationships both internally and externally, with a proactive approach to communication and collaboration.
Your Role Accountabilities…
• Support the Commercial Audience Manager and senior management team in implementing the Audience, Data, and Measurement strategy for the UK business.
• Assist with the day-to-day tasks related to managing the DMP and liaising with technology partners.
• Help maximize 1st party data collection across WBD UK properties while contributing to building and maintaining an audience product portfolio.
• Work alongside the Commercial team to provide audience information and reporting for pre-sales efforts, contributing to the creation of clear and engaging audience materials.
• Support audience optimization efforts by reviewing audience segments and suggesting actionable recommendations.
• Learn and apply audience segmentation best practices while developing an understanding of the marketing funnel and customer journey.
• Collaborate with Ad Sales to help develop targeting recommendations, creative strategies, and desired outcomes for client briefs.
• Assist with audience troubleshooting and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders when needed.
• Contribute to post-campaign insights, measurement setup and collateral preparation, supporting presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide assistance in project management and onboarding of new data platforms and sources.
• Build strong working relationships with internal teams to support timely deployment and updates of data solutions.
• Stay informed of industry trends and share relevant updates with management by attending events and tracking new developments, regulations, and opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience…
• Experience working for a digital publishing or streaming business or in an audience data field
• Knowledge of data management platforms
• Experience working with partners such as Permutive, Audience Project, Snowflake and Liveramp favourable
• Experience working with audience segmentation and campaign measurement
• Experience working with multiple SSPs/DSPs & Ad Servers favourable
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and organizing data sets
• Handle multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously, ensuring adherence to best practices.
• Be an excellent presenter, comfortable presenting internally and externally
• Have an interest in Streaming and the role advertising plays
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with team members as well as in cross-functional groups
• Demonstrates impressive attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills
Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
