Job Description
The Analyst, Growth Analytics will support CNN Digital's new subscription initiatives. This role will play a large role in understanding the success of these initiatives by developing reporting, identifying product insights, supporting AB tests, making strategic recommendations, and developing data pipelines in SQL (Snowflake / Databricks). This role is part of the Data, Analytics, Research & Testing (DART) team, but is cross-functional and will also partner with engineering, product, and finance.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Data development: help structure the last mile of data transformations to enable the best possible reporting.
• Reporting and Visualization: employ best practices to build intuitive self-serve reporting tools for various product leads and other stakeholders.
• Analysis: perform ad hoc analyses to unpack what's driving the impact for new product features.
• Cross-functional partnership: work with business partners across growth, finance, engineering, and product to understand how they're driving change and to identify new opportunities.
• Communication of results: summarize your findings to influence senior collaborators at CNN.

Qualifications & Experience…
• At least 1 year of work experience in relevant role, preferably in the Product or Finance space.
• Experience and working knowledge of SQL and an interest in growing that skillset.
• Experience with data viz tools like Tableau, Domo, Looker, Power BI or similar
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver complex messages to diverse audiences.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Solid time management skills and ability to work on multiple projects

The Nice to Haves…
• Bachelor's degree or higher. quantitative discipline preferred.
• Experience working in digital news or a strong interest in news.
• Hard examples of telling a compelling business story with data.
• Experience working with cross functional teams in support of agile product development.
• Familiarity with / proficiency in a scripting language like Python/R.
• Familiarity with / interest in DBT.
• Familiarity with AB testing: detecting significance, estimating required sample size, etc.

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $62,300.00 - $115,700.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Salary Details
Salary Range: $62,300 to $115,700 Per Year ($ USD)
