Job Description
As an Acquisition Strategy Specialist, EMEA - Streaming you will be an integral part of the EMEA Subscriber Acquisition team, driving subscriber growth and revenues across our streaming services Max & Discovery+. In this role, you will help define the strategy for our subscriber acquisition across the EMEA region, manage the overall marketing budget, and deliver the gross adds forecast.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for television, movies, entertainment, and digital marketing, along with a strong understanding of D2C performance marketing. You will be comfortable working with data analytics, financial models, and budgeting processes. Working as part of a team that values speed, accountability, collaboration, and learning from mistakes, this highly cross-functional role requires collaboration with teams on a global level, including Data Science, Finance, In-house Media Buying, Creative, and Go-to-Market teams.

Your Role Accountabilities…
• Support on the sales forecasting and reforecasting for WBD Streaming products, including MAX and Discovery+, in EMEA.
• Refine and improve marketing effectiveness and return on investment through MMM optimization in EMEA. Utilize EMEA-specific inputs to refine output of models and provide insights for scenario planning of budget shifts.
• Translate WBD's internal data points into actionable business insights to ensure business KPIs, such as efficiency and health metrics, are consistently delivered on target, and adjust Marketing plans and activities accordingly.
• Support in managing the media budget, deliver full-funnel budget optimization, interface with global teams, and allocate budget splits between markets, funnels, and channels.
• Own performance trackers and trading updates by providing acquisition performance overviews, trend insights, focus areas, and optimization efforts as the acquisition owner, and deliver ad-hoc analysis or deep-dives based on current business needs.
• Provide support for Warner Bros. Discovery Streaming management, including strategy reviews, executive presentations, and other management-level deliverables for recurring and current affairs.

Qualifications & Experience
• Experience in data-driven environments (digital marketing, streaming, subscription services, digital products, strategy consulting)
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse full-funnel marketing initiatives and metrics, maximize business opportunities, and support financial objectives.
• Excellent analytical skills and rigor to assess marketing effectiveness and provide insights to inform business decisions and objectives.
• Demonstrated expertise in process building, problem solving, stakeholder management, and working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, diverse, and multi-layered global matrix environment.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
