VICE TV and VICE Studios are seeking a Senior Publicist. The Senior Publicist will be responsible for producing a high volume of stories in key news, entertainment and tech outlets, as well as maintaining relationships with leading industry reporters. The Senior Publicist will be responsible for booking broadcast media interviews (TV, radio), print and online coverage, and will run strategy on large campaigns, events, etc. This position will report into the Vice President, Global Comms.

Responsibilities:
• Secure coverage publicizing VICE TV and VICE Studios' video content, talent, articles, and events, with a special focus on entertainment content.
• Produce communications materials, including press releases, media pitches, brand announcements, etc., as well as follow-up reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key reporters.
• Create and execute impactful campaign strategies and coordinate between communications and marketing departments.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Arts degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Journalism.
• 5+ years of experience dealing with leading entertainment, fashion, tech outlets, preferably in a media, entertainment, or other similar work environment.
• Extensive media contacts in print, broadcast and online, with contacts in trade, news, and technology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the VICE brand and its properties is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Macintosh computer programs.
