Senior Vice President, eCommerce & Artist Services (Republic Collective)

Republic Collective and Famehouse are seeking a leader to join our teams in a new SVP role, responsible for growing the eCommerce business across Republic Records, Mercury, Island, Def Jam, and Imperial's artist rosters. This role will report to Famehouse, but will be deeply embedded into the Republic Collective's operations and label teams, based out of their New York office.
Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to lead highly collaborative teams, to develop meaningful relationships with artist teams & label partners, and bring a passion for D2C to the business.
How you'll CREATE:
• Deliver eCommerce revenue growth for Republic Collective artists & labels:
• Guide artist D2C & store planning to maximize revenue & music product performance, working closely with label Marketing & Commerce teams to drive global results
• Partner with Bravado to maximize merch sales growth & impact for artist brands via D2C
• Lead implementation of strategic initiatives across Republic Collective labels to maximize revenue results & other core business goals
• Act as on-site leader for the Famehouse x Republic Collective partnership, building strong trust & relationships with key partners across labels:
• Understand label stakeholder needs & ensure our team is delivering against them, adapting to label & artist feedback, etc.
• Provide expertise in D2C best practices, selling through strategies to achieve artist & label-wide goals
• Ensure D2C is fully integrated into artist development & release strategies
• Educate label teams on emerging trends in D2C, promoting learnings & insights from across the industry
• Work collaboratively with partners across FH & UMG to ensure capabilities are fully leveraged in support of Republic Collective projects
• Build strong relationships with Republic Collective artists and their teams, exciting them about the power of D2C to fuel their career growth & superfandom:
• Represent FH in artist meetings, leading pitches and campaign proposals
• Educate artists & their teams on how to use D2C to achieve both commercial and creative goals
• Sell through D2C strategies & campaigns to artist teams, driving healthy engagement from the artist team
• Support eCommerce rights acquisition efforts for the labels, FH and for Bravado
• Ensure we consistently deliver exceptional service to artist partners and quickly solution against artist feedback or challenges
• Lead the FH teams embedded into Republic Collective labels, driving talent development & empowering them across projects:
• Work with label leaders to ensure embedded FH team members are successfully integrated into label operations & planning activities.
• Directly manage artist & label engagement team members supporting Republic Collective labels
• Work with internal FH function leadership to ensure cross-functional team members-creative, site merchandising, store management, fan services, operations, etc.-are empowered & resources are leveraged appropriately across projects
• Ensure work product across the team meets FH & REPUBLIC Collective standards of excellence
Bring your VIBE:
• 10-12+ years of relevant experience working in Music, eCommerce/D2C or related field. At least 5 years experience with music commerce & D2C campaigns.
• Strong track record of leading relationships with artists and/or label team. Existing relationships within the Republic Collective label and artist community is a major plus.
• Track record of leading high talent, cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to develop high potential talent.
• Expert understanding of eCommerce, specifically trends/best practices across music and artist merchandise and consumer behavior
• Established track record of effectively communicating and selling through music strategies and campaign plans.
• Natural ability to collaborate and serve the needs of labels and artists. Must be willing to set ego aside in order to deliver for our partners, artists, and their fans.
• Must be comfortable working nights and weekends, especially during priority release campaigns.
• Familiarity with physical music and merchandise production is strongly preferred.
• Creative approach to problem solving.
• Extremely organized and comfortable streamlining many moving parts. Comfortable juggling multiple high priority projects simultaneously.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing label & artist needs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and an ability to make informed decisions based on data.
• Experience with Shopify strongly preferred
• Experience with Monday.com is a major plus.
• Proficiency in Keynote, Microsoft Office (particularly PowerPoint, Excel) and Mac OS.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Salary Range:
$197,433 - $458,030
