Job Description
We are seeking a visionary Senior Director, Creative specializing in physical packaging, creative direction, world building, and design. This role will mainly focus on creative direction for our artists' brands, ensuring immersive and cohesive visual experiences.

How you'll CREATE:

Creative:
• Develop and execute design strategies that align with Capitol and varying artists' visions.
• Create brand bibles as well as album and single artwork across vinyl, cassette, CD and more physical mediums

World-Building & Design:
• Create visually compelling physical packaging that tells a story and enhances the artist's brand.
• Collaborate closely with artists, A&R, and marketing to deliver cohesive and immersive design solutions.
• Stay current with design trends, printing techniques, and materials for cutting-edge packaging.

Project Oversight:
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with external vendors and printers to achieve the highest quality production.
• Address and resolve any design or production challenges.

Experience:
• 5-7 years experience in a creative field specifically with design and physical packaging (vinyl, CD, Cassette, etc).

Required Skills:
• Creative Direction: Ability to guide the overall artistic vision for physical packaging and album artwork.
• World-Building: Expertise in creating immersive visual experiences that align with the artist's brand and storytelling.
• Innovative Design: Strong ability to conceptualize and execute visually compelling and unique designs that stand out in the market.
• Trend Awareness: Keen understanding of current design trends, printing techniques, and materials to ensure cutting-edge packaging solutions.

Technical Skills:
• Adobe Creative Suite: Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other relevant design software.
• Printing Processes: Deep knowledge of various printing processes, including offset, digital, and specialty printing techniques.
• Packaging Materials: Understanding of different packaging materials and their properties, ensuring the best choices for durability and visual impact.
• Production Techniques: Expertise in production techniques to achieve the highest quality in physical packaging.
