Mercury Studios – the studio behind MIXTAPE (Paramount+), MY LIFE AS A ROLLING STONE (BBC / EPIX), IF THESE WALLS COULD SING (Disney+), SHANIA TWAIN: NOT JUST A GIRL (Netflix) as well as a wealth of live music concert capture, podcasts, branded content and a burgeoning slate of scripted projects – are looking for a Production Manager for the US Slate to play a key role in driving the successful production of both our in house and co-production projects, and be part of building the production department in the US.
How you'll CREATE:
Co-Productions:
• Review and vet third-party production budgets ensuring best possible utilization of investment throughout the production
• Manage co-production partner on-boarding process including reviewing cash flow schedule, reviewing deliverables, setting up vendor accounts, creating PO's and communicating with finance team
• Declare projects to the UMG wrap around Insurance programme
• Work closely with creative lead / producers to supervise all administrative aspects of active productions
• Attend regular production meetings and communicate any budget and/or schedule changes to internal stakeholders (sales, post, physical goods)
• Work with the Head of Post Production on tech spec and delivery to Mercury
• Work with production legal to vet and deliver all necessary agreements and maintain up-to-date legal binder (COE, Permits, Licenses, Contractors, etc.)
• Work closely with Post Supervisor to manage asset delivery to exhibitors/distributors
• Perform post-project production wrap ensuring all assets and paperwork are properly delivered and stored
In House Productions:
• Create budgets for US based projects, or UK based projects which have shoots in the US
• Build network and relationships with production service and post production companies
• Build network and relationships with freelancers and crew
• Work hand in hand with UK production lead to ensure shoots are executed
• Attend and be on the ground support for shoots as needed
General:
• Manage the implementation of company production process to allow growth at scale
• Work with internal creative and marketing teams on materials needed for press, promo and awards submissions, be first point of contact for any assets needed
Bring your VIBE:
