Job Description
The specific group is responsible for managing the end-to-end Supply Chain to set up, manufacture and distribute time sensitive media product to a very demanding retail and consumer market.

The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing production and procurement Supply Chain processes pertaining to the New Release Life Cycle of Physical Media product. This position is responsible for managing UMG US New Releases for UMG Labels.
• This position will be responsible for managing and improving the end-to-end New Release (NR) inventory processes for UMG.
• Management of short, medium, and long-term inventory planning, and milestone management metrics.

How you'll CREATE:

Leadership
• Provide Supply Chain Operations Process Management for Inventory of New Releases
• Will be responsible for managing and supporting designated New Release projects.
• Responsible for day-to-day management, guidance, and execution of New Release plans
• Part of the UMG Operations team managing the business transformation

New Release Planning & Inventory Management
• Manages the UMG New Release Label Schedules
• Ensures Release Plans are in place, workable and executed on time and complete.
• Work closely in collaborative manner with UMG Label Teams to ensure Release Plans are in place and will deliver the results required by the Label.
• Manages successful transition of NR products and process to Catalog Inventory Management
• Manages label & supplier critical path milestones for new release titles and procure finished goods and raw materials based on requirements.

Inventory Planning
• Analyze and manage inventory requirements for new release titles to ensure commercial goals are met for all Channels including D2C and retail.
• Meets weekly with label to review upcoming and current new release titles, plans & projected inventory.
• Analyze and action inventory requirements to secure supply for New Release and 4 weeks post release date demand.

Process Enhancement
• Assists the team with the development of processes, system enhancements, system developments (primarily SAP) and reports (e.g., Key Performance Indicators (KPI), statistical and trends reports)
• Part of core Release & Inventory team responsible for overall Project Management of New Releases in the Physical Supply Chain utilizing toolsets in SAP & SPW

Reporting & KPIs
• Produce and distribute reports to UMG labels for New Release KPI's & project status.

• 5 years of experience in Supply Chain New Release & Inventory Management.
• Demonstrated knowledge in a products environment working with New Releases/New Product Launches and Catalog Replenishment
• Working knowledge of Item and Bom Setup, Purchase Order Creation for finished goods and components across multiple platforms.
• Supply chain end to end knowledge of production, procurement, manufacturing, distribution, and customer service functions.
