The Capitol CMG finance team is looking for a finance coordinator to be responsible for onboarding all new vendors, handling vendor maintenance, and assisting with accounts payable processes of the global leader in Christian Music. This exciting role provides opportunities to contribute within the finance function of a very dynamic team.
The Finance Coordinator plays a crucial role in vendor creation, vendor maintenance, invoice processing, and support to multiple departments in CCMG to ensure payments are accurate and handled in a timely fashion. To be successful the candidate will require some financial accounting hands-on experience, strong project management skills, intellectual curiosity, and proven experience in communicating financial concepts to a non-financial audience.
How you'll CREATE:
• Work closely with UMG Financial Operations team to handle all vendor setups and management
• Document, organize, and archive vendor documentation
• Communicate effectively with internal parties and external partners on all CCMG vendor and invoice related processes
• Interface with the label departments and third-party vendors to resolve any vendor setup discrepancies or invoice issues
• Monitor the UMG vendor maintenance standards to ensure compliance with any UMG guidelines
• Act as subject matter expert in vendor related topics
• Assist with loading budgets into Uniport
• Provide Uniport training and support as needed
• Support the team on various projects as needed
• Implement new partner agreement deal terms into reporting system
• Assist with administering monthly reporting for third party partners
Bring your VIBE:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• 0-2 years of proven and relevant finance/accounting experience, preferably with an entertainment company
• Must be able to meet demands of a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and competing priorities
• Strong people skills with a positive attitude and flexible personality
• Both oral and written communication skills needed to liaise with external vendors
• Comfortable taking initiative, being self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision
• Strong financial systems skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Proven high level of organization and attention to detail
• Extremely accurate data entry skills
• Driven by accuracy of results
• Intellectual curiosity and solid business acumen
• Exposure to an environment where internal controls are a high priority
• SAP/Uniport experience a plus
