BRAND PARTNERSHIP ACCOUNT MANAGER

Reporting to Director, Brand Partnerships & Strategic Marketing the Brand Partnership Account Manager will have a strong foundation in current marketing and advertising strategies , having experience across traditional, digital and social media , from both a planning & executional perspective . The ideal candidate understands traditional marketing but is also pushing into new opportunities , where artists and fans are connecting.
You must have a curiosity and vision that can create opportunities UMGB , our artists and our partners, but first and foremost, this is an account management role where emphasis on planning & executing projects with a high level of accuracy and efficiency is needed to succe ed . You must feel comfortable driving a project forward. You will have the opportunity to help grow strategic relationships and new business opportunities with world-class brands, media platforms, agencies, artists, publishers, and labels.
Universal Music Canada is a hybrid working environment, with a creative campus located in Liberty Village in Toronto's West End.
Responsibilities
• Lead, manage & execute client projects from project sign off to project completion.
• B uild positive relationships with clients , respond ing quickly to requests, offer ing innovative ideas, solv ing problems effectively, understand ing challenges , g ain ing clients' trust and respect
• O versee multiple complex projects with concurrent deadlines through effective account management
• Coordinate projects effectively, react ing promptly to team requests, ask ing questions, communicat ing needs and problems effectively, manag ing logistics, meet ing deadlines , and find ing ways to get things done in a resourceful way
• Active budget management is integral to success of the role
• Actively support and collaborate with creative teams on ideas and pitches
• Work closely with the other team leads to ensure that all work undertaken maximizes the available cross-functional resources in an efficient and cost-effective manner
• Display and encourage
organization, communication, creativity and innovation
• Manage workload and work process by facilitating regular meetings with account team s , planning teams and overseeing updates and accuracy
• Recap executed projects with both internal & client teams to highlight successes & learning opportunities
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Prior experience in a marketing execution
or account management roles
• Prior experience in publicly trade company or large agency an asset , but not a requirement
• Demonstrated experience working with large brand partners
• Pitching & presentation e xperience an asset
• Enjoyment in developing & managing relationship s will create immediate impact for this role
• Deep understanding and immersion in culture – primarily music/fashion/media
• E xtensive e xperience managing and monitoring budgets across large-scale account s
• Exceptional
organizational skills and superb oral and written communication, with seasoned presentation skills
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with a team , with strong management skills, enthusiasm, and can-do attitude
• Team player who is results-oriented, proactive and has a strong work ethic
• Ability to operate with speed, flexibility, and creativity , with w orld class attention to detail across all projects ' aspects
