The Role and What You'll Do:
The UFC is seeking a Videographer to join our Emmy Award-winning production team in Las Vegas. We're seeking a creative and technically proficient videographer who understands current trends in commercial and documentary production. The ideal candidate is confident in building camera and lighting setups, with the ability to deliver visually engaging, consistent results across a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute elevated visual styles through lighting and camera techniques for both studio and field shoots.
• Capture dynamic, stylized content for live events, promotional campaigns, interview-based series, sponsorship features, and more.
• Collaborate closely with producers, directors, editors, and fellow camera operators to bring creative visions to life.
• Stay current on the latest camera and lighting innovations, techniques, and technologies to continually elevate production quality.
• Work closely with athletes and their teams during event weeks to capture behind-the-scenes, documentary-style content for UFC's flagship series, UFC Embedded.
You Have These:
• Minimum 5 years professional experience shooting a wide variety of content for all media platforms, in both field and studio environments.
• Experience designing and setting up lighting for interviews in both studio and field environments.
• Strong understanding of proper exposure, composition, and framing.
• Must be knowledgeable about the latest cinematography techniques and visual trends.
• Working knowledge with ARRI and/or Sony camera technologies desired.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Must maintain discretion and confidential information.
• Documentary filming experience desired.
• Experience with gimbals, time lapse photography and other motion control systems a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere a plus.
• Experience with working for an agency, post-production company, or broadcast creative team is a plus.
• Experience in a sports environment preferred. Knowledge of MMA is a plus.
• Ability to work irregular hours such as evening, weekends, and/or holidays along with frequent travel.
• Candidates will be subject to a videography test to assess technical ability and aptitude.
