Job Description
Reporting to the Lead Level Designer, you will be responsible for designing part of the game's missions. As such, your responsibilities will include:
• Contribute to the overall structure of missions (objectives, rewards, mission flow, etc.).
• Be responsible for the paper design and integration into the engine of main and secondary missions, taking into account the gameplay elements defined by the Game Designers and the scenarios imagined by the Narrative Designers.
• Use our scripting tool (nodal) to define the triggers required for the mission (appearance and exotic behavior of AIs, scripted events, etc.),
• Validate mission playability with testers and Level Artists,
Qualifications
• With a degree in Design, you have at least one previous experience in level/mission design, and have already worked on an AAA open-world game.
• You are familiar with all stages of game creation, from concept to post-launch.
• You know the technical constraints of an engine and are comfortable using event scripting tools.
• You have a good ability to illustrate your intentions,
• You are creative, analytical, autonomous and rigorous.
• You have a level of English that enables you to communicate with your non-French-speaking peers.
• You are passionate about video game creation and have a good knowledge of video games.
