We are seeking a skilled and experienced UX Designer to join our team to work on a GaaS AAA video game. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging UX for our game. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team in Da Nang and other teams in Southeast Asia, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our players.
Own the full lifecycle of a feature, from conception through development to delivery:
• Work with Game Designers to comprehend their design intentions.
• Create flows, wireframes and interactive prototypes using Figma for essential game features.
• Create and maintain UX design documents/ Figma component library for those features.
• Present your design with Core Team and work on iteration until the design gets approval.
• Work with UI Artists, Programmers, and other team members to ensure a thorough understanding of the flows, wireframes and documentation, to deliver the feature adherence to the design.
• Analyze reports from feature's playtest and translate them into actionable design iterations.
• Supervise Junior UX Designer's task, support them to make important design decisions and give guidance on processing their daily tasks.
Qualifications
• Experience in HD/ Mobile games or game related projects.
• Proficiency in Figma/ XD.
• Portfolio showing the experience on UX design for real games or game related projects.
• Good presentation skill, both verbal and written in English.
• Solid problem-solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skill.
• Easily adapt and learn new things whether it's a new prototyping tool, design process, or game engine.
• Experience in mentor/supervise Intern or Junior UX/UI Designer.
As a plus:
• Understand basic of how game engine works (Unity, Unreal).
• Has knowledge about basic game design principles.
• Familiar with modern AA/ AAA games' mechanics and design.
• Knowledge in at least 1 visual design tool (Photoshop, Illustrator or others).
