The latest achievement of the teams in Sofia is the creation of the most ambitious expansion in the Assassin's Creed franchise history – AC Valhalla ''Dawn of Ragnarök'', released in March 2022.

Your role
As a Senior Game Designer, you will design game systems and mechanics in line with the design and creative visions to achieve the best player experience.
*Please, note that our Studio is based in Sofia and in terms of our hybrid model of work, working within the Bulgarian boundaries would be required.

CREATE GAME SYSTEMS
According to the creative direction
ANALYZE AND ANTICIPATE
The behaviors of game systems
CONCEPTUALIZE, CREATE AND MAINTAIN
Detailed game design documentation throughout the project cycle
REGULARLY UPDATE DOCUMENTATION
To offer a useful work reference for the whole team
COLLABORATE WITH THE DIFFERENT TEAMS
In order to develop strong gameplay mechanics
PROTOTYPE AND ITERATE
On the core game mechanics
USE GAME AND PLAYER KNOWLEDGE
To support propositions and choices with references
BALANCE AND ADJUST GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCES
To ensure the game's critical and commercial success
IMPLEMENT GAME CONTENT
Using in house engine tools and basic scripting
TAKE OWNERSHIP OF KEY ELEMENTS OF THE GAME
Driving them to completion

Qualifications
Your skills
EXPERIENCE
5 years of experience in game development and at least 2 shipped titles
KNOWLEDGE
Extensive game culture and ability to analyze game design in a market context
Proficiency in basic software such as word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Collaborate effectively with other team members
Proficiency in English
TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Ability to manage your own time and work within deadlines
PRECISION IN WRITING
Ability to write clear and concise documentation in English
ENTHUSIASM AND DESIRE
To work in the game development industry with creative and collaborative teams
