Job Description

Your role

As a Local IT Team Lead you will manage the local IT team, will be responsible for ensuring a proper Support Service Quality and you will own the local IT asset strategy and decision process, contributing to the strategic objectives in alignment with the global and Studio strategy. You will be handling operational workload regarding all IT projects within your scope.
*Please, note that due to its functions this position requires working mostly on site at our Studio.

Your daily adventure

SUPERVISE THE DAILY OPERATIONS OF THE TEAM

And be responsible for the team development and performance

MAINTAIN THE CONDITION, PERFORMANCE AND UPDATES OF THE WHOLE IT INFRASTRUCTURE

Including but not limited to Hardware, Software, Servers, Networks and Server Rooms

WORK WITH LOCAL PRODUCTION AND STUDIO TEAMS REPRESENTATIVES

To ensure their IT needs are covered to provide a flawless working process

HANDLE VARIOUS OPERATIONAL TASKS DAILY

Regarding different IT projects, requests and incidents

ENSURE THE CRITICAL STUDIO INFRASTRUCTURE IS UNDER MONITORING

With notification abilities and all critical studio data is backed up

ENSURE DEPLOYMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND SYSTEMS

To cover Production and Studio needs

MANAGE AND PURCHASE ALL IT ASSETS

Following the global Ubisoft and local Studio policies and best practices

DEAL WITH EXTERNAL PARTNERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS

To ensure that the Studio needs within your scope are covered
OVERSEE THE ASSET INVENTORY LIFE CYCLE AND ENSURE QUALITY REPORTING

For the purpose of budgeting definition and asset rollout planning

ACT AS A LOCAL POINT OF CONTACT FOR THE SECURITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT TEAM

To ensure Security policies are deployed regarding Cyber & Physical Security

REPRESENT AND ADVOCATE THE STUDIO'S INTERESTS

Within the global IT organization

CONTRIBUTE TO COMMON TECHNICAL AND MANAGEMENT TOPICS UPON YOUR KNOWLEDGE

And be a technical and managerial escalation point for all IT topics within your scope

Qualifications

Your skills

KNOWLEDGE

College diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent experience

Broad technical IT knowledge

Great understanding of site realities and awareness of regional and global impacts

Ability to prioritize broad range of topics efficiently & make decisions quickly

Ability to work autonomously with ownership

EXPERIENCE

Minimum 3+ years of experience in developing, leading and managing IT teams

Experienced in data driven decision management, Service Management, IT Support, Negotiation and Budget Management

MANAGEMENT SKILLS

Strong management and organizational skills

Great team leadership skills

ADAPTABILITY

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment

Continuous improvement mindset and service oriented mentality

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to work well in teams, to collaborate and communicate with individuals and stakeholders from various backgrounds and hierarchical levels in a multi-cultural environment

Ability to receive, seek and provide constructive feedback

Strong listening & communication skills in English (spoken and written)
