• Strong sketching abilities as well as rendering, graphic design, and iconography.
• A strong understanding of material surfaces and the ability to communicate them visually.
• Excellent understanding of mechanical function and purpose and the ability to communicate this for both grounded and exotic hard-surface designs.
• Knowledgeable in weapon design across various eras and genres.
• An understanding of the relevance of art to gameplay.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop.
• Work samples showing knowledge of generative AI tools like Stable Diffusion, Vizcom, Dall-E, or equivalent.
• Knowledge on which art techniques to employ to deliver weapon and prop art deliverables on time while communicating what is needed to the team, with an excellent attention to design, detail, form, and function.
• Be fast and organized at researching and reference gathering.
• A collaborative and team player approach, being able to contribute ideas, take direction, and react to stakeholder feedback.
• The ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively.
• A robust online portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, meticulous execution, and versatility in creating amazing weapon designs across multiple themes and styles.
