Dark Burn Creative, a division of Trailer Park Group (TPG) is one of gaming's most prominent and growing entertainment marketing agencies, specializing in global content creation, trailers/promotions, and gameplay capture. We combine our creative storytelling expertise with large-scale production resources, uniquely positioning us to create, market, and distribute gaming content for our diverse client portfolio of top gaming development companies and major brands.

We are looking for a Junior Editor to join our Dark Burn Creative team! This role will edit video games to help create compelling stories for our trailers and coming attractions work.
Our Junior Video Editor works directly with our game capture team to help create the world's most captivating video game trailers and reels for our top tier global gaming clients.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS ROLE REQUIRES ON-SITE, FULL TIME WORK IN OUR WOODLAND HILLS, CALIFORNIA OFFICE.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Work creatively on assets, using their judgment, when necessary, to create assets for clients.
• Work with the producers and creatives to assist on assets in which these employees need additional support.
• Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Receive general instructions on day-to-day work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
• Understand brand pillars and game features.
• Review brand documentation and asset briefs to gain a better understanding of the game.
• Use active listening to aid in understanding asset requirements.
• Ask questions internally within their department to clarify asset creative vision and objective.

ABOUT YOU:
• 2+ years of experience in trailer editing or assistant editorial required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects required.
• Eager to learn and grow within the company.
• Love of video games, active play and knowledge of the current video game trends/socials helpful.
• Available to work long hours when needed, especially under tight deadlines.

Please note that a job offer for this position will be determined based on many factors, including experience, unique skill set, other qualifications, location, job performance (current employees), and various business and budgetary considerations.
