MXW, a division of Trailer Park Group, has long-standing relationships with the world's leading entertainment companies (Disney, Universal, Warner Bros. Discovery), continued presence with leading streaming platforms (Netflix, Disney+) and content studios (Andscape, BBC, Mediawan) – and working with adjacent business sectors: consumer products, flagship retail and visitor attractions (Universal Products & Experiences, Disneyland Paris, Westfield).

We are currently seeking a Director, Client Services & New Business for our global business who has agency experience in one or more of these areas. This is a customer-facing, hands-on role that develops new business strategies to sell MXW's products & services including: brand strategy & extensions, corporate storytelling, creative content, and experiential design & delivery.
Overall Responsibilities
• Driving the growth of MXW's business with new
• Serving as the client contact on growth-oriented projects, super-serving clients to build partnerships.
• Staying current on evolving entertainment industry news, serving as the expert on trends to proactively provide solutions to both core and new clients.

New Business (50%)
• Lead and develop initiatives for new business efforts, including pitching as required.
• Identify and secure new-new opportunities in core entertainment and business adjacencies.
• Build, maintain and nurture relationships with key decision-makers to drive a robust pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities within target industries.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish and expand professional connections.
• Manage and achieve an annual new business target of over £500k.
• Negotiate fee structures and draft scopes of work in accordance with agency procedures.
• Collaborate with company President and finance to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Work with Business Affairs to ensure all contracts and agreements comply with agency policies and legal requirements.

Client Management (30%)
• Translate the clients' requests, briefings, and thinking into an actionable and commercial agenda for the agency.
• Serve as the holder of key client relationships, forging a positive connection and being their trusted advisor representing the agency.
• Lead the day-to-day meetings, calls, and ever-changing requirements with clients.
• Responsible for communicating the clients' objectives and deployment of the internal creative brief.
• Monitor profitability, scope creep, and budget.
• Evaluation of projects to apply learning going forward.
• Preparation of client reporting reviews.
• Lead and manage multiple projects at once from conception to completion, driving teams to successfully deliver on time, quality, and budget.
• Communicate, sell, and pitch work to clients in an engaging way.
• Write client presentations to showcase best and elevate the work.
• Review deliverables, ensuring all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality and align with brand guidelines.

Creative Ideation (20%)
• Develop and conceptualise innovative ideas, including supporting copy and visual inspiration.
• Lead ideation sessions, ensuring active participation, and curate the outcomes to align with strategic goals
• Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team, encouraging the generation of fresh ideas.
• Identify and apply relevant trends in global consumer culture.
• Design resource management in collaboration with the Design Director.
• Build, maintain, and manage external partners and consultants to leverage additional expertise.
• Translate concepts into compelling narratives and visuals that resonate with target audiences.

Requirements
• 5+ years agency experience working with entertainment or tier 1 brands, in an account management/business development capacity.
• Existing relationships with entertainment clients and adjacent industries.
• Understand all aspects of B2B and consumer marketing.
• Successful leadership with management experience with a keen ability to delegate and manage multiple projects and people.
• A highly organized, detail-orientated individual who can work under pressure.
• Strong interpersonal skills/welcoming personality that encourages relationship building both internally and externally.
• A creative and strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and personability.
• Exceptional and versatile copywriting, brand strategy, and storytelling skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanour for interfacing with clients.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
