Job Description
The Senior Director, National Promotion will oversee national radio airplay efforts for all projects assigned to Ambush Music.
What you'll do:
• Office- first role, in office 4 days a week.
• Work with artist management and artists to secure and execute national strategic promotion plans.
• Develop and maintain relationships on a national level to influence and increase radio airplay, video streams, audio streams, and any other medium that aids in the development and awareness of Ambush artists.
• Analyze, interpret, and distribute any and all airplay data to enhance the narrative and progress of label priorities. Including but not limited to:
• MediaBase
• Nielsen Music Connect
• Spotify/Apple Music/Pandora/Amazon Music/Shazam
• Chart Benchmarking
• Develop and maintain all national syndication strategies.
• Maintain and ensure all budgetary agreements are adhered to and accounted for.
• Develop and execute strategies with national radio chains. iHeart, Audacy, Town Square Media, Beasley, etc…
• Travel as necessary, to enhance your/our relationships at country radio and other influencers to continually develop our brands.
• Work with regional staff to reinforce and develop their growth and experience. They need to be able to look to the national as a source of:
• Guidance
• Back-up
• Support
• Motivation
Who you are:
• Minimum of 5 years of promotion experience
• Computer Skills: Radio and sales programs as MediaBase, Luminate, as well as an understanding of streaming services, and social media platforms.
• Bring innovation, concepts and promotional ideas to further the development of our brands at radio, TV, internet, or wherever we can make impressions on potential influencers.
• Be a positive motivating resource to any and all areas of Ambush Music.
