JOB SUMMARY: The Texas Rangers Baseball Club is seeking a driven and results-oriented Media Sales Executive to join the reigning World Series Champions. In this role, you will be responsible for selling TV and radio advertising assets for the Texas Rangers. You will leverage your proven track record in sports and entertainment media sales to build and maintain relationships with clients, drive revenue, and contribute to the overall success of our media sales efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets, exclusively selling TV & radio assets for the Texas Rangers.
• Work alongside a high-performing sponsorship team and helping to foster a culture of high-performance and accountability.
• Create advertising proposals, develop sales strategies, analyze and report campaign performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective media partners, leveraging industry knowledge and contacts to secure media agreements.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing department to create innovative sales campaigns, promotions, and events that drive fan engagement and increase ticket sales.
• Utilize data analytics and market research to identify sales trends, target markets, and potential revenue streams, making informed decisions to drive business growth.
• Regularly report on sales performance, presenting key metrics, and insights to senior management, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• All other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum seven years of media sales experience.
• Proven track record of success in media sales within the sports industry.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, delivering consistent revenue growth.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to secure and maintain media revenue.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other sales-related technologies. Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports industry, including market trends, fan behavior, and revenue generation opportunities. Knowledge of the Texas Rangers organization is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and attend team events as required.
