Job Description

MPC – Serves Film and Episodic organisations. Having won several Oscars and other prestigious awards MPC partners with all the world leading film studios and has worked on films including The Lion King, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Top Gun, 1917, The Greatest Showman and Guardian of the Galaxy, to name but a few.

The Mill – Serves advertising organisations and has helped create some of the world's most recognisable brands. With clients including Apple, Amazon, Budweiser and Nike The Mill is the most recognisable name in VFX advertising.

Mikros – Creating market leading animation, Mikros has created iconic shows such as Rug Rats, Alvin and the Chipmunks, SpongeBob and Paw Patrol.

Technicolor Games – Serves AAA game studios and work on asset creation as well as cinematics. Having worked on titles such as Call of Duty, Resident Evil, FIFA and Grand Theft Auto, Technicolor Games is growing incredibly quickly and rapidly moving into other areas of the games' ecosystem.

Key responsibilities
• Business partnering for Enabling Functions (i.e.: technology, COOs, Real Estate, Finance, HR and Legal) with focus on technology.
• Providing month end P&L support for Enabling Functions with a solid understanding of the numbers and their business drivers.
• Supporting on the preparation of a consolidated TCS Enabling Functions deck for month end, budget and MBRs (Management Business Reviews)
• Financial Planning – support of the Budget and 3 years plan bottom-up built in line with strategy and actions plans.
• Cash forecasting – ensuring regular and accurate reporting and forecasting of Enabling Functions cash-flow.
• Month end reporting – managing and reporting the P&L and ensuing that the Enabling Functions monthly results are reported to group requirements with all required commentary analysis etc.
• Other reporting - ensuring consistency in KPI management across the service lines that are critical to building budgets.
• Involvement in strategic transformation plans. The candidate will enable that transformation particularly across Technology.
• Providing insight on the financial dynamics of the business to spot opportunities and improve efficiency.
• Providing financial insight to the senior Management team.
• Work with the business to identify key risks and opportunities and ensure these are mitigated or delivered.
• Working closely with the group stakeholders to manage ad hoc requests.
• Challenging Commercial Finance and the business to ensure delivery of budgets and continuous improvement in financial performance.

Qualifications

Skills and experience

Essential:
• Demonstrable experience in a finance in similar role on global level, in a complex and international organisation (minimum 5 years)
• Experience in a complex and changing FP&A role recommending and implementing new processes.
• Financial and commercial acumen; applying judgement and providing recommendations supported by analysis and risk consideration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel ability
• Commercial awareness, the interface or 'translator' between finance and operations
• Strong core business skills including influencing, stakeholder management and proactively setting the agenda, building relationship and presentation skills
• Challenge status quo and act as agent of change
• Make decisions, be comfortable with risk and working with ambiguity
• Fluent in English.

Desirable:
• Transformation experience
• Experience with SAP, BW, Magnitude, Coupa
• Experience of working in a Technology, Media & Entertainment environment.
