What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Current Executive to join our growing team! The Current Executive helps manage all aspects of multiple current shows from start to finish, including creative and production matters. This role is crucial in maintaining the creative integrity of our projects while ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to inspire and manage creative teams. Strengths someone in this role will have:
• Leadership: be a direct and effective communicator, motivator, and manager of show teams.
• Negotiation: ensure our show teams have what they need to create shows that stand out, keen unscripted acumen, and an up-to-date knowledge of how comparable shows are priced and delivered in the market.
• Risk management: mitigate risk in all aspects of creative risks from story, to financial to operational.
• Business: manage several unscripted shows at varying stages of production ensuring we're being efficient and budget-conscious.

• Manage all aspects of ongoing and newly greenlit series, ensuring the creative vision is maintained from conception through production to final delivery.
• Generate insightful verbal and written feedback on all story materials related to various series through all phases of production, ensuring the feedback from the Head of Tastemade Studios and other network stakeholders is incorporated appropriately.
• Participate in creative meetings with executives and key creative leaders to ensure alignment and cohesiveness across all content.
• Leverage industry relationships and up-to-date knowledge to ensure we deliver best-in-class unscripted shows
• Collaborate with Tastemade Studios EIC to secure approval for all freelance producers and third-party production needs.
• Collaborate with Tastemade Studios Senior Line Producer to align on show budgets and schedules
• Watch cuts and give creative notes. Ensure all stakeholder notes are consolidated and clear.
• Act as a proxy for the Head of Tastemade Studios in internal meetings and across various business lines as requested.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with creative talent,showrunners, producers, and directors.,Stay informed about emerging talent in broadcast television, streaming, and overall unscripted..
• Exercise excellent creative and business judgment.What you'll bring:
• 5+ years of Current/Development/Production-related experience required, preferably within unscripted television.
• Strong track record of producing unscripted series and television formats..
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and with diverse personalities and work styles.
• Strong relationships in the unscripted community.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proven leadership skills.

How we'll take care of you:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay range for this role in the US is between $160,000 and $175,000. The range listed is just one component of Tastemade's total compensation package for employees. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: candidate qualifications, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus or commission, equity, benefits, and/or other incentives.
