Senior Compositor

Job Description

We are searching for a Senior Compositor that is excited by the variety and fast pace that working on commercials at a boutique studio offers. We are looking for someone who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-level work. You should be comfortable leading projects, working with clients, have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Taking briefs and direction from VFX Supervisors to execute assigned shots
• Leading projects including identifying compositing issues and determining solutions
• Integrating 2D, 3D and live action elements to a high standard
• Meeting schedules and project deadlines
• Ongoing communication with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines
• Working with clients in order to create their vision
• Balancing the creative and technical aspects of each shot

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a comparable environment
• An excellent working knowledge of Nuke and production experience in commercials and/or film projects
• A strong eye for detail, composition, colour and lighting
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• A pro-active, positive and collaborative work ethic
• The ability to solve complex problems
• Being comfortable working directly with clients when needed
• Compositing experience in a commercials environment is desirable
