You are following the latest story on socials that has permeated the social zeitgeist, while keeping up with the changemakers who are fighting for social change. In this role, we are looking for someone who knows which celebrities and influencers are going to help advance a movement, campaign or initiative and who we will tell that story to.
This person is responsible for leading and implementing communications strategies involving celebrity, athlete and influencer engagement that elevate awareness of our client's mission driven campaigns and initiatives. Candidates should have a media relations background and a proven track record of talent engagement.

You are able to develop multi-year celebrity and influencer stewardship plans, building our client's profiles within the entertainment and sports industries. The ideal person knows how to pitch a wide range of stories, as well as developing custom engagement and activation opportunities for celebrity supporters -- from a celebrity volunteering with a nonprofit that lands in PEOPLE Magazine, to recruiting talent to sign an open letter that's placed in The Hollywood Reporter, to identifying the right champion to craft a first-person essay in Glamour.
Responsibilities Include:
• Leading national social good campaigns, including developing strategy and outreach on various clients (corporate and non-profit)

• Providing thought leadership opportunities for clients in widely read outlets, top listened to podcasts, and other major profile-driven outlets
• Serving as a senior leader within the agency
• Managing complex client issues; able to manage clients through stressful situations that require thoughtful counsel.
• Training and mentoring junior staff on the inner workings and executions of talent/influencer integration, PR and media relations, social campaigns, and overall work approach.
• Managing and building upon an existing network of press friendlies ranging from entertainment outlets to new digital outlets, as well as growing relationships with talent/influencer reps
• Achieving deliverables for a full roster of clients (average of 6 – 8).
• Participating in and/or leading new business meetings, creating proposals as needed.
• Regularly bringing new opportunities for clients – media meetings, key introductions, event opportunities, etc.
You should apply if:
• You have at least 8 years of experience creating entertainment related advocacy campaigns that are focused on earned media and talent engagement.
• You've managed a team with direct oversight for at least 3 years (of those 8 mentioned above).
• You know how to navigate stakeholders, thought leaders, and media.
• You have a strong value and understanding of the rapid pace of the entertainment industry
• You have established press contacts and have your ''go-to'' folks to get that important message out.
• You have a genuine interest in developing junior talent and empowering them to be A performers!
• You are a strong writer – persuasive, concise, creative, and quick.

• You are incredibly organized, detail oriented and able to excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
