Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW

The Associate Manager, Corporate Partnerships is charged with managing an assigned group of Sundance Film Festival and Sundance Institute Partners. In addition, this position is tasked with tracking financial updates, working closely with the legal team on contracts, and maintaining team databases.

Working closely under the Senior Manager, Corporate Partnerships, this temporary position works full time from Monday, May 13, 2024 through Friday, November 15, 2024 and will need to work extended hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends at key points. This role may work remotely from a state of operation but may be required to travel to Utah for the Sponsor Summit in the fall.

Top priorities include, but are not limited to…
• Managing a portfolio of 10 to 20 select partners for the Sundance Film Festival.
• Supporting the sales team with all sales operations and creative functions, including creating pitch materials, conducting prospect research and outreach, contract and financial tracking, and maintaining day-to-day communication with corporate partners.
• In partnership with the Corporate Activation team, supporting activation and benefit fulfillment for assigned accounts.
• Helping with planning and prep for the annual Sponsor Summit in September 2024.
• Supporting contract management for a portfolio of corporate partners with the Legal team.
• Overseeing the tracking of partners and ensuring information is updated in the Advancement team’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, Netsuite.
• Working closely with fellow members of the Corporate Partnerships team to provide support with various projects.
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure representation and timely execution of partner deliverables.
• Playing a key role in department operations, managing logistics, timelines, and ensuring excellent customer support is provided at all times.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to department processes to increase efficiencies.

You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:
• 3 years of experience managing corporate partnerships or sponsorships with a focus on sales and account management, or related.
• Strong written and verbal skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent customer support and relationship management skills, including the ability to manage complex relationships.
• Strong organizational and operational management skills.
• Adaptability to take on new tasks as assigned in an evolving event landscape.
• Experience managing sponsors or clients at live events preferred.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• Support the team in meeting or exceeding the annual shared goal of $10M - $13M.
• Help the team identify and cultivate a continuous pipeline of new prospects and a renewal rate of 70%+.
• Oversee and foster key areas of corporate partnerships such as nonprofit partners and corporate hospitality packages
• Help create improved processes and systems to further optimize the sales process and cycle.
