Summary of Position
The Executive Director of Originals Marketing is the Series Lead across multiple original titles and will drive high-profile 360 campaigns through positioning, strategy and creative development. This role is for a dynamic thought-leader energized by crafting consumer-driven marketing strategies and developing ground-breaking creative assets. In this role, the Executive Director drives the ideation of high-profile, strategic campaigns with innovative and culturally impactful creative across Print and AV that drive acquisition and cultivate strong fan bases.
Responsibilities
• Lead 360 launch campaigns crafting marketing strategies, campaign positioning, creative strategy and developing creative assets like key art and trailers to drive acquisition, audience retention and brand awareness
• Oversee originals marketing presentations, decks, and briefs and present marketing plans to both internal and external stakeholders such as Showrunners and Executive Producers
• Drive creative across key campaign elements such as Key Art, Official Trailer, Teases, TV Spots, etc. and communicate all creative feedback with both third-party agencies and internal creative services
• Lead and oversee marketing shoots with producers, photographers, creative director and talent. Work closely with production teams and creative teams to ensure for successful 360 shoots.
• Collaborate and efficiently work cross-functionally with other key teams: Creative Services, Digital, PR, Development and Production, Affiliate Marketing, International, Research, Legal, Programming to ensure cohesive campaign strategies and creative alignment are met for all campaigns
• Ideate and lead buzzworthy consumer activations in collaboration with Brand, PR, Events and Digital teams to generate show and brand awareness and effectively impact business goals
• Proactively manage and track multi-million-dollar marketing budgets to ensure most effective spend of dollars across shows/programs and line items.
• Manage and inspire direct reports to work as a best-in-class team
Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree; Minimum 8-10 years of experience in entertainment marketing, ideally a television network with emphasis on premium/streamer environment or a movie studio; with management experience leading teams in developing and executing marketing campaigns
• Specific experience launching television series either from the programmer side or the agency side
• Agency experience preferred but not mandatory- must have working knowledge of media planning, research, and OTT services
• Strong strategic and creative skills, organization and communication skills are crucial
• Must have an ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
• Must be a team player and leader with a collaborative and generative approach to the business

Compensation
$160,000 - $190,000
