General Summary:

The Media Planning Coordinator is responsible for utilizing GriPit! and/or other planning/optimization tools to populate daily network transmission logs with on-air promotions and other elements to optimize the viewer experience and to achieve pre-determined reach and frequency goals for targeted audiences.

Responsibilities:
• Plan on a weekly basis the on-air promotional campaign strategy in GriPit! to achieve the stablished goals on a weekly, monthly, and post campaign evaluation.
• Manage, monitor, and send Promo House Numbers from Promo Portal to Vision. Ensure that usage dates, changes, deliveries, and applicable feed information is correct.
• Add promotional tapes, run times, rules, and restrictions for each promo available in GriPit.
• Import updated Prelog information from Vision, adjusts campaigns based on target goals, run optimization procedure, and review promo and GRPs distribution before exporting logs to Vision.
• Update, optimize, and close daily logs. Complete daily logs based on the daily deadlines established by the traffic team
• Manual placement of Ad Sales, Marketing, and SPRI added value promotional request.
• Coordinate promotional day parts and media plans with the Ad sales team to avoid oversaturation and back-to-back of promo/commercial.
• Post-run reconciliation in GriPit! from Vision and adjust any promotional change from the presentation schedule to final As Runs.
• Plan and schedule secondary elements according to the channels' directives (Ad Sales, Programming, On-Air, & Marketing/PR).
• Update the inventory of promotions and interstitials on a weekly basis.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proficiency in MS applications, Outlook, and understanding of the media agency and television industry is a plus.
• Have a passion for the TV industry and watch a lot of television.
• Good communication, analytical, and organization skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, changing environments, and meet deadlines.
• Must be detail oriented and be able to multitask.
• Fully bilingual (English and Spanish), both written and spoken.
• Ability to understand media planning and research concepts.
• Ability to maintain detailed records and be detail-oriented

Experience:
• Minimum of one year of experience in On Air-Planning
• Minimum of one years of Entertainment Industry experience

Education: Bachelor's degree is preferred
