Our Team
Worldwide Distribution (WWD) is based in Culver City and licenses features and series to linear and digital platforms around the globe. The Platform Experience and Design (PXD) group is a highly collaborative team focused on driving client engagement with Sony Pictures content and enabling high-impact capabilities for internal teams. The PXD team is responsible for a technology portfolio that includes the marketing, sales and data applications and offers TV and Home Entertainment clients as well as internal sales and marketing teams access to Sony Pictures content across multiple devices (Desktop, Mobile, AppleTV, Chromecast, Firestick, etc.)

Role
As the Title Readiness Manager, you are an operational champion who works to improve satisfaction with our platforms by ensuring the integrity, availability and access to assets and metadata for our content (e.g. key art, screeners/trailers, social media content, and sales collateral). This highly motivated individual can work well autonomously or in groups. Our ideal team member is equally comfortable documenting processes, driving a group workshop to understand business pain points or evaluating potential technology solutions with our development team.

A problem solver that delves into the details, you understand that process change is both art and science. You measure and analyze current processes to identify the right targets for improvement and nurture the change to ensure benefits are realized. You are a technology advocate and change maker who builds buy-in with content contributors and stakeholder teams to drive program adoption.

Responsibilities

1) Ensure integrity, accuracy and availability of metadata and assets across the application suite and optimize operational workflows. (50%)
• Codify standard operating procedures (SoPs) and develop runbooks for assets delivery and virtual events.
• Implement quality control plans and dashboard reporting on content health including asset availability, artwork and metadata accuracy, content reuse, asset research and publication requests.
• Analyze existing performance metrics and content contributor feedback to recommend and implement operational changes that improve the quality and satisfaction with our delivery processes.
• Document existing and future workflows to identify gaps and existing pain points. Build a shared understanding of business objectives and proposed changes with workflow stakeholders and the SPP team.

2) Focus on systems improvements and identify opportunities to drive automation and workflow expansion across the product lifecycle. (30%)
• Identify operational improvements and automation opportunities throughout the Sony Pictures' product lifecycle–from upstream content creation/acquisition workflows to product distribution.
• Contribute enhancements prioritization and perform quality control reviews on new features and existing capabilities, with a focus on system administration improvements• • Work with content contributors, IT partners and the PXD team to understand business objectives, current process pain points and potential optimization targets.
• Champion improvements that eliminate manual processes and leverage technology. Drive integration with source systems to speed up availability of assets and metadata.

3) Manage relationships with internal Marketing, Production Teams and 3rd party content contributors (20%)
• Participate in product meetings with upstream marketing and content development teams.
• Work with Platform Operations Lead to meet regularly with stakeholders to build support for ongoing workflow improvements and technology changes.
• Collaborate with Client Success Manager to develop regular communications updates to content contributors regarding systems enhancements and operational changes.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or operations
• Working knowledge of publishing and media management systems and workflows
• Ability to drive operational programs to delivery
• Self-starter with an eye for detail
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Curious mindset, interest in learning and asks questions
• Highly proficient in presentation and process mapping software
• Problem-solver; comfortable troubleshooting issues across various applications and technologies
• Ability to prioritize issues and escalate when needed; ability to multiple tasks

Skills
• Demonstrated ability to work and excel in fast-paced environment
• Aptitude with metrics and analysis tools
• Localization and program management skills a plus
