This position will be a 1 year contract only.

The opportunity:

We are seeking a hard-working Technology Project Manager to plan, manage, and complete various critical and innovative projects for our studio. The ideal candidate should be a strong leader and communicator, eager to collaborate on projects of varying sizes, experimental workflows, with a key focus on change management and outcome measurement. Candidates should have a solid understanding of VFX and animation production pipelines and enjoy working with software engineers, artists, and key production leaders. Comfort with metrics, data analytics, visualization, and overall project and product management workflows is crucial.

What you will be doing:
• Implement technology and process changes for targeted VFX and animated productions, collaborating with show production teams, creatives, heads of departments, and software development team members.
• Contribute and manage to an ''outside of the box'' process and workflow
• Promote and adopt the project lifecycle for various projects or product iterations, managing the rollout of new and existing products and tools within our studio pipeline.
• Provide regular updates and reports on key project metrics, including resource allocation, to ensure that the team's resources are applied effectively.
• Apply change management principles throughout all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring that project team members and end users are engaged from the beginning of the project through its adoption.

What we are looking for:
• 4+ years of experience in the games, VFX, or software industry.
• Detail-oriented candidate with outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Strong communicator, capable of influencing effectively with software engineers, technical production managers, and leadership at all levels.
• Clear understanding of how innovative tools can improve artists' efficiency and quality of life, with the ability to influence and integrate these tools into production pipelines.
• Previous experience in analytics and data transformation.
• Adaptable to changes, essential for growing in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage sophisticated issues and relationships.
• Experience collaborating with teams and team members across different locations and time zones around the globe.

Preferred skills:
• Familiarity with CG software and tools, along with knowledge of the VFX pipeline.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum or lean methodologies.
• PMP certification is a plus.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $80,000 - $150,000/yr CAD. Benefits are per company policy: which include healthcare, tuition reimbursement, RRSP's, Sick and Vacation leave, standard increases as applicable. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.

Salary Details
Salary Range: $80,000 to $150,000 Per Year ($ USD)
