Santa Anna is an artist and label services company established last year to develop and support music entrepreneurs and independent label partners. Since it's launch, it has announced partnerships with some of the industry's most influential independent labels such as OVO, Listen To The Kids, Good Money Global, and Trill among others and helped launched the careers of exciting young artists like Heembeezy, Dina Ayada and SheedTs.

What you'll do:
• Manage forecast and financial budget and planning process across Alamo / Santa Anna / Foundation and new ventures and acquisitions (''business units''), including monthly forecast and annual business plan. Ensure timely submission of SME corporate deliverables
• Oversee monthly close including monthly financial commentary and analysis of financial performance versus business plan and forecast, and performing balance sheet reviews
• Perform deal analysis, including returns and recoupment analysis, for potential label/artist deals, acquisitions and new business investments, as well as supporting in the development of performance targets for new deals
• Serve as business lead for integration projects related to newly established and acquired entities and business units, including defining requirements around systems and data integration, workflow and processes, and reporting needs
• Partner with GTO (Global Tax Office) and JV Accounting team to complete and review tax filings for business units and joint ventures, and respond to tax related inquiries
• Monitor talent balances / recoupment / reserves for Alamo, Santa Anna, Foundation rosters and liaise with the Royalty Department regarding royalty and distribution statements, to confirm earnings and costs
• Prepare quantitative-based recommendations that support revenue growth targets and improve profitability, operating efficiency, and effectiveness

Who you are:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
• 5 - 8 years experience in financial planning & analysis or strategic planning and/or 2 - 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or business development
• Experience in the entertainment industry, with understanding of recorded music and culture a big plus
• Sophisticated understanding of valuation techniques and financial modeling skills
• Excellent verbal, analytical, written and interpersonal skills.
• Strong accounting skills
• Comfortable in an energetic, fast-paced environment
• Proactive and resourceful, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to think ''big picture'' while willing to roll up your sleeves and get in the weeds
• Able to manage multiple, competing priorities while maintaining data accuracy while meeting deadlines

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

$130,000 - $150,000 USD
