This role is fundamental to the core of the Audience Development and Media Buying team within the Digital Marketing department of Columbia Records. The specialist will collaborate with the department head in planning and execution of paid digital ad campaigns for upcoming releases across the roster. Beyond paid media, the specialist will help ideate and execute campaigns to build fan communities, focusing on first-party data capture and subsequent usage of that data in marketing. The specialist will assist with creative concepts for both advertising campaigns and fan engagement activations. Creativity, attention to detail, and data acumen are essential to this role. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, fan culture, and analytics.

What you'll do:
• Paid Digital Advertising. Support the paid digital media strategy, including planning, execution, and reporting, for your designated roster of Columbia frontline artists.
• Fan-Building Data Initiatives. Ideate and integrate fan data initiatives into digital marketing plans with an eye towards long-term fan journeys.
• Content Ideation. Help brainstorm content ideas for bespoke advertising objectives, incorporating real-time trends into creative campaigns.
• Reporting and Storytelling. Synthesize campaign insights for senior management and artist teams; derive narrative from numbers; own reporting templates and innovate tracking documentation.
• Resource building. Learn existing tools to streamline digital media processes and explore new platforms to further innovate workflow.
• Billing reconciliation. Coordinate billing reconciliation and invoice fulfillment for digital advertising partners.

Who you are:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• At least one year of relevant Paid Media experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with paid media platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager)
• Proficient in Excel; extremely detail-oriented and organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative and collaborative mindset.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptive to change and ability to prioritize deadlines.
• Social media & internet culture obsessed.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
