Joining AWAL's global Release Management team in New York, the Associate Director will play a key role in helping our artists deliver music to their fans. You will ensure accurate and timely creation of US AWAL Recordings releases for digital and physical distribution. You will liaise with clients, internal teams and third-party stakeholders to efficiently manage all aspects of release set up and scheduling to ensure all US AWAL products meet release date. You will also manage a Junior Manager as part of the role.

What you'll do:
• Collaborate with Release Management & Marketing teams to oversee the creation of digital and physical products in AWAL's systems
• Onboard new US AWAL Recordings clients, communicating all relevant audio, artwork, label copy specifications & timelines
• Work closely with AWAL Marketing Leads on upcoming release timelines, scheduling, and delivery of products
• Gather assets from clients, collating, managing and inputting all data and assets into AWAL's internal release management systems to an excellent standard
• Build digital products (audio + video) from end to end and deliver accurate/approved products to the Operations team
• Coordinate production of physical formats in close consultation with clients and AWAL's manufacturing brokers, from creative concept to manufacture through to shipment, ensuring timely delivery to meet release dates.
• Manage the team's Junior Manager, also based in New York

Who you are:
• You have 5-7 years of experience working at a label, music distributor or manufacturing broker, with a good working understanding of both the physical and digital supply chains
• A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details
• A successful people manager
• You are willing and excited to support the team as needed
• An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator
• You are numerate and tech savvy with a meticulous eye for detail.

$70,000 - $90,000 USD
