Manager, Social Strategy (Women's Sports)
Sinclair, Inc. is looking for a passionate and experienced Manager, Social Strategy to lead the development and execution of digital content plans related to an upcoming slate of women's sports podcasts. This role will focus on ideating, producing, and amplifying engaging social media content, while leading the growth of the brands across multiple social platforms. You will work with internal content producers, editors, high-profile talent, and stakeholders across marketing and sales to contribute to a holistic content strategy across all channels. What You'll Do:
• Ideate, develop, and implement strategic, multi-platform content plans tailored to the unique audience and brand of each podcast. Leverage the unique voice, insight, and experience of each talent to go beyond show cutdowns and put us at the center online conversations.
• Create and distribute content across all show and talent handles, ensuring that posts are timely, relevant, engaging, and on-brand.
• Serve as the primary voice online for each show, adapting your communication style to reflect the personality of each while staying consistent with brand messaging.
• Drive community management initiatives to foster meaningful engagement. Respond to comments, moderate discussions, and encourage conversations to deepen viewers' connections with the podcasts and talent.
• Build and implement innovative engagement strategies to grow followers and subscribers, increase engagement rates, and extend the podcasts' reach through partnerships, collaborations, and viral moments.
• Be a leading voice in the content development of the show overall, ensuring social is incorporated, helping to drive audiences to our other platforms and keeping them engaged on all channels.
• Ideate unique content ideas for brand integrations, while executing sold sponsorship campaigns across all channels.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on performance metrics, providing insights into reach, engagement, growth, and audience behavior.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Use insights to evolve and optimize future promotional campaigns, ensuring our content remains fresh and effective.
• Optimize content for searchability and discoverability, maximizing relevant keywords and SEO best practices.
• Leverage Sinclair's vast network of O+O stations and digital channels for additional support and amplification.
• Manage social content calendar, aligning with internal show teams and stakeholders to ensure all teams are on the same page with short- and long-term plans.
• Provide on-site support for live events and experiences, including building out advance content plans, shooting, and directing talent.
• Proactively research competitors, social creators, and the latest social platforms, tools, and algorithm changes to ensure best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in the sports or entertainment industry.
• Expert-level understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and the unique audience-building strategies across each.
• Experience work on large multi-channel marketing campaigns, while contributing to and executing strategy across assigned channels.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable steps.
• A passion for women's sports and its growth, digital-first storytelling, community building, and an understanding of the sports media landscape.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working directly with high-profile talent, maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
• A calculated risk-taker. Someone who enjoys pushing boundaries and thinks outside the box, but does so thoughtfully and strategically.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
• Proficiency with video editing and design software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Canva, etc.)

The base salary compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $85,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
