After only six months Criminally Obsessed became Sinclair's second largest social account, and we continue to grow every day.
As Manager of Audience Engagement and Publishing Operations (Community Mangement) it will be your job to act as the eyes and ears of our accounts, keeping a finger on the pulse of online conversation, and also serve as the voice of our brands to lead thoughtful interactions with our followers across all platforms. To be successful in this role you must be passionate about True Crime content, be well-versed in the language of the internet, hyperaware of social trends, and possess the ability to translate audience data into actionable next steps.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Schedule and distribute content across all social media handles, ensuring that posts follow platform best-practices, are published in a timely manner, and copy is written in a voice familiar to our fans.
• Coordinate social collaborations and content amplification with Sinclair's vast network of local stations and external partners when relevant.
• Serve as the primary online voice for our brands, adapting your copy style to reflect the personality of each account while staying consistent with brand messaging.
• Amplify our reach through always-on Community Management that fosters meaningful conversation with our audience including responding to comments, moderating discussions, and encouraging dialogue among our followers to deepen their connection with the brand.
• Prepare and distribute regular social media performance reports, providing insights into reach, engagement, growth, and audience behavior.
• Analyze performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in our content output, ensuring our content remains fresh and effective.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in social media management, preferably at a publisher or network.
• Deep understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and audience-building strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable steps.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms.
• Experience creating original social content, with examples to share, is a plus!

The base salary compensation range for this role is $75,000 to $85,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
