Job Description
Sinclair, Inc. is looking for an Associate Producer, Podcasts to help in the development, production, and growth of new and ongoing podcasts, with a focus on sports content.
The role will support the growth of our podcast portfolio across multiple digital and linear channels. Candidates must have a strong understand of podcast content development, an audio + video production background, and experience with social media. You should be passionate about podcasting and social content, have solid technical skills, be an outside-the-box thinker, and collaborate effectively with talent, production staff, and senior leadership.
What You'll Do:
• Support the day-to-day production for a variety of podcasts in all aspects of content development, editing, publishing, promotion, and monetization
• Contribute to all show content ideas with an understanding of what resonates with audiences
• Prepare detailed rundowns, guest research, sound bites, images, and video clips
• Manage the show production process, including scheduling, guest outreach and coordination, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Assist with recording episodes and resolve technical issues, both in-person and remotely
• Provide editing support for episodes and podcast clips, in audio and/or video, and QC before publishing to ensure a high quality finalized product
• Develop and execute strategies to promote podcasts across social and other digital and linear platforms based on what is resonating with audiences
• Ensure all sponsorship elements, such as ad reads and sponsored content, are properly integrated and QC'd
• Develop creative ideas to leverage internal and external resources to help drive audience growth across all channels
• Collaborate on launching new shows, including content, format, production, and distribution strategies
• Communicate with all cross-functional teams, ensuring information is delivered to the proper stakeholders
• Educate talent and staff on best practices, maximizing their skillsets
• Provide updates and feedback to senior leadership
• Other duties as assigned
Who You Are:
• 2+ years of experience in podcasts, social media, digital video, television, or similar
• Proven experience in content development, with a background in audio and video editing (e.g., Adobe Audition, Premiere, ProTools, or similar tools)
• An understanding of podcast production and post-production processes across multiple channels and what resonates best with audiences on different platforms
• Familiarity with executing sales integrations, including ad reads and sponsored content, across digital channels
• Strong passion for sports; knowledge of current and historical information across a variety of teams and leagues
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms and strategies to drive audience growth and engagement
• Well organized, collaborative, a creative thinker, and a strong work ethic that can execute efficiently against deadlines
• Comfortable working directly with high-profile talent, maintaining a professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work mornings, nights, and/or weekends as projects call for

The base salary compensation range for this role is $55,000 to $70,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
