Job Profile:
Our dynamic in-house integrated marketing team is looking for a Creative Copywriter to join their team. This role requires a highly creative and innovative individual with a sharp eye for detail.
The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will work across all areas of the Simon & Schuster adult publishing list working on creative content across both print, digital and outdoor. You will write content for marketing campaigns, online retailers, owned websites, newsletters and some corporate communications. You will be responsible for polishing copylines for books and advertising lines to ensure they are as effective marketing tools as they can possibly be. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting metadata content across the list.
The Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a talented individual with a flair for writing creative copy, an imaginative approach, a background within a creative industry would be highly advantageous. You will have proven skills in metadata optimization and an awareness of industry best practice. A strong understanding of working with content management systems, WordPress, etc. A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design. You will display strategic thinking and planning, as well as an instinct for consumer insight. You will be full of creative ideas and knowledge and understanding in a publishing role is desirable. If you love books and getting them into them into the hands of readers, then we want to hear from you.
