The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of the company's production projects. They'll work with the Company Director, Senior Producer, Production Assistant, Social Media Officer and Graphic Designer on a daily basis, primarily supporting the projects of the company with effective and strategic marketing campaigns.
The role requires a passion and flair for marketing; a keen attention to detail with both creative and financial responsibilities; and a strong understanding and experiene with live comedy marketing strategies.

Purpose of job: To devise and deliver effective and varied marketing campaigns, which support the success of the company’s wide range of live comedy projects. To support the growth of the company’s public reach and brand.
REQUIREMENTS
A strong understanding of the UK comedy scene
Minimum 3 years' experience within the UK comedy industry
Minimum 4 years’ experience within a performing arts marketing position
Strong copywriting skills and a keen eye for detail
Strong communication skills to maintain and forge new partnerships
Experience managing marketing budgets
Experience with digital social media adverts
A strong desire to gain further experience, and to grow your role within the company
DUTIES
Devise and manage marketing activity campaigns to meet agreed budgets and targets
Liaise with venues and their marketing departments to co-ordinate marketing activity
Liaise with advertising agencies and media outlets to secure advertising coverage
Liaise with agents and artists directly to co-ordinate marketing and advertising activity
Monitor ticket sales and collaboratively devise additional campaign strategies
Run, optimize and report on digital social media advertising campaigns
Oversee physical print delivery, display, distribution, hand-to-hand and OOH activity
Update and maintain the company’s website and ticket link listings
Write and distribute e-shots and newsletters, to a wide range of audience targets
Oversee audience databases and devise strategies for growth
Oversee the design process for promotional artwork and materials
Employ freelancers, agencies and suppliers in short-term marketing roles
Maintain budgetary spreadsheets and regularly update expenditure sheets
Share weekly activity reports and monitor analytics
Stay up-to-date on latest trends and best practice marketing strategies
Stay up-to-date on UK live comedy industry events and developments
Support the aims and objectives of Show And Tell internally and externally

Salary is £32,000 to £34,000 (DOE).
Starting date is flexible: end of January 2024 desired, or as soon as is possible.
Full-time role.
Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm.
With a maximum of 2 evening show commitments per week (though typically, this is not more than 5 evenings per month). Working from home / hybrid days are available at all times. August requires relocation to Edinburgh.
