Job Description
Sesame Workshop seeks a Manager, Global Corporate Giving, to join its dynamic development team. The Corporate Giving team is focused on philanthropic giving from Corporations, Corporate Foundations and collaborates on Corporate Social Responsibility/Retail opportunities globally. The team also works with brand teams (e.g., agencies, brand marketing, corporate communication teams) and aligns with intermediary organizations that help with funder matchmaking as part of Sesame Workshop's overall philanthropic goals. This position will report to a Senior Director of Global Corporate Giving and be responsible for a wide range of business development activities, the most significant of which are: driving processes around prospecting, concept and proposal development, cultivating and managing a small portfolio of donors and partners including reporting and donor stewardship, and supporting Senior Director in larger partnership oversight.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage a portfolio of new corporate partnerships
• Support Senior Director in the day-to-day management of larger partnerships
• Stay apprised of corporate giving trends to help refine and refresh corporate prospecting strategy with focus on identifying new and untapped potential funding sources including intermediary organizations
• Research new funding opportunities and manage the business development pipeline
• Develop and manage protocols, timelines, and knowledge management and organization systems for timely submission of proposals and reports
• Develop strong and compelling pitch decks, concept notes, and proposals
• Review and submit interim and final reports for funders
• Work collaboratively cross-departmentally on project planning for proposals and updates for reports
• Attend project meetings and serve as a resource on funder requirements and grant deliverables
• Develop account briefs, donor renewal strategies and work with the Senior Director to determine growth opportunities for key existing partners
• Track prospects and grant activity, and run pipeline reports in Salesforce

Qualifications:
• B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in corporate philanthropic giving, including at least 1 year of proposal/pitch development
• International experience preferred
• Experience working for a global NGO and the ability to speak languages other than English are a plus
• Familiarity with funders and philanthropies funding global social impact programs
• Strong data management and visualization skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel
• Strong relationship management skills with a range of clients or donors including experience in developing and managing corporate accounts
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work productively with shifting and tight deadlines
• Excellent writing, organization, verbal communication, and desk research skills
• Must be an initiative-taker with an upbeat, entrepreneurial attitude and work independently as well as in a team setting
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with Salesforce is a plus
