As a Visual Pioneering Artist, you will leverage a broad array of open-source and in-house-developed tools and techniques to produce images and videos, adhering to the creative objectives set by the project supervisor. The ideal candidate will apply their understanding of Neural image creation tools to generate captivating outcomes. Your role involves working with our cutting-edge generative models, conducting research, experimenting, and refining your creations to manifest our envisioned concept.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver original art based on the initial creative brief the project owner/supervisor provided
• Refine your results based on the creative feedback from the team
• Participate in testing in-house machine learning image frameworks from an end-user perspective
Qualifications
• 5 years of related industry experience in VFX or animation
• Strong understanding of photography, cinematography, lighting, and composition
• Proven expertise in creating and developing visual assets using machine learning techniques to enhance and innovate artistic designs
• 1 year of experience in the field of neural network-generated imaging space
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the Stable Diffusion ecosystem and tools, including Automatic111, ComfyUi, and InvokeAi including comprehensive knowledge of building custom workflows where needed.
• Familiar with a variety of Stable Diffusion techniques, including but not limited to: ControlNet, Ipadaptor, T2i Adapters, Animdiff, Loras, Embeddings
• Comprehensive understanding of prompt engineering in the context of Generative Machine Learning frameworks such as Stable Diffusion
• Comprehensive understanding of the principles of art and design
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively adhere to a creative brief, as well as define the choice of tools and workflows for delivering results
• A robust portfolio showcasing your capacity to employ technology to create art
• Proficient knowledge of leading 3D or compositing package with lighting, rendering, and grading in mind, such as Maya, 3D Studio Max, Unreal Engine, or Blender
$80,000 - $180,000 a year
This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Vancouver, BC. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location.
