Compositing Supervisor

Job Description

As a Compositing Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the team of compositors across our global studios, briefing them, and providing timely constructive feedback. You will ensure consistency, and develop production methodologies and creative approaches in anticipation of and to resolve problems.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor the team's progress and help diagnose and solve problems
• Ensure deliveries are completed to the highest standard, both technically and creatively
• Provide input to the Head of 2D and pipeline team on compositor performance, compositing pipeline, and workflows
• On-the-box compositing of complex shots (live-action sourced and/or full CG)

Qualifications
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience using Nuke and Shotgun
• Previous experience as a compositing supervisor in national and international feature film
• Excellent understanding of techniques and technologies related to CG rendering and compositing
• Proven technical and creative ability in a feature-film production environment
• Ability to take direction positively, work well within a team and thrive under the pressure of tight deadlines
• General understanding of the whole CG pipeline
• Basic knowledge of color science

컴포지팅 수퍼바이저는 컴포지팅팀을 수퍼바이징 하고 관리하는 책임이 있으며 해외에 있는 스튜디오에게 요약 정리와 시간때마다 건실한 피드백을 전달합니다. 일관성을 가지고 프로덕션을 이론적으로나 방법적으로 개발하고 문제가 발생하는 경우를 미리 예상하고 창의 적으로 접근하여 개발하고 해결할수 있어야 합니다.

담당업무
• 팀의 성장을 지켜보고 문제가 생기면 진단하여 해결하는데 도움을 줘야합니다.
• 결과물이 기술적으로, 또 창의 적으로 높은 품질을 완성할수 있게 해야합니다.
• 파이프라인팀과 2D 팀장에게 컴포지팅 파이프라인 워크플로우에 대한 의견을 제공합니다.
• 복잡한샷(라이브 액션소스 또는 풀CG)을 개별적으로 컴포징.

자격
• Nuke 및 Shotgun 사용 경력 10년 이상
• 국내외 장편 영화에서의 컴포지팅 슈퍼바이저 경력
• CG 렌더링 및 컴포지팅 관련 기술과 기술에 대한 뛰어난 이해
• 장편 영화 제작 환경에서 검증된 기술적, 창의적 능력
• 지시를 긍정적으로 수용하고, 팀 내에서 원활하게 협력하며, 촉박한 마감 기한에 대한 압박 속에서도 성과를 낼 수 있는 능력
• 전체 CG 파이프라인에 대한 일반적인 이해
• 색채 과학(color science)에 대한 기본적인 지식
