Austin Business Development Sr. Account Executive (FT)
This position is responsible for further developing, maintaining, and increasing Season Ticket and Group Ticket Sales in the Austin market for the Austin Spurs, San Antonio Spurs, San Antonio FC, and Frost Bank Center Family Shows and/or Events with a strong focus on relationship sales and customer retention. The eligible candidate must provide extensive customer service and continual development of relationships with customers and co-workers. This position will meet Level II sales revenue goals and must support the organization's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: excellence and competence, collaboration, and innovation.
What You'll Do:
• Meet or exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and service.
• Generate, develop, and maintain new and ongoing business and sales relationships in the Austin market by executing leads, pipeline planning, and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
• Implement and demonstrate outbound sales efforts by using sales and services best practices, prospecting, networking, lead generation, face-to-face meetings, and data capture.
• Develop and attain personal strategies, procedures, and goals to increase sales for SS&E Properties while committing to on-going sales training and development of best sales practices.
• Assist and support business development management with all aspects of promoting and managing SS&E properties and other department responsibilities.
• This position is responsible for selling the following inventory:
• Season Ticket Packages
• Partial Ticket Packages
• Premium Seating
• Suite Inventory
• Group Seating
• Austin-Based Initiatives/Events
Who You Are:
• Minimum 2+ years of previous sales experience.
• Proficient in CRM data management system, Ticketmaster Archtics ticketing system, Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other computer skills required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently while demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy.
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.
• Strong teamwork aptitude, organizational skills, and customer service skills required.
• Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to have a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends, holidays, and event nights.
• 60% of job performed remotely and 40% performed onsite (subject to change).
• Some travel may be required for client meetings, events, and game day responsibilities.
• Stand/sit/walk for long periods of time.
