PMC: Associate Director - Product Development, Audience Marketing

Responsibilities
• Lead the creation and execution of developing pioneering new editorial products to support both paid and free media subscription offerings.
• Facilitate collaboration among Editorial, Brand Leadership, Product, Engineering, and Data & Analytics teams to uphold a unified product vision.
• Scout and execute new features and enhancements, boosting subscriber engagement and retention. These may be web or mobile features or email products.
• Shape editorial email newsletter offerings that resonate with readers to deepen engagement and increase lifetime value.
• Conduct comprehensive market analyses and research to identify trends and outline competitive product strategies.
• Devise robust go-to-market strategies alongside the marketing department, ensuring smooth product launches.
• Monitor product performance through metrics, leveraging data to refine and advance product strategies continually.
• Solicit and incorporate customer feedback through various channels to better tailor products to user needs.
• Maintain adherence to all respective legal, privacy, regulatory, and ethical standards.
Required Skills and Experiences
• Bachelor's in marketing, business, or related field. Experience at a media, publishing or content company is required.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in product development, editorial, or marketing roles, particularly within media audience marketing / subscriptions.
• Demonstrated aptitude for creative thinking, with an ability to generate new editorial product ideas and expand on existing concepts that promote revenue growth.
• Demonstrated leadership influencing and advising cross-functional teams.
• Excellent ability to synthesize product insights from diverse data sets.
• Effective communicator capable of driving projects forward and influencing decision-makers.
• Keen adaptability in fast-paced and fluctuating business climates.
• Previous roles in content-centric organizations.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, with a robust analytical acumen.
• Knowledge of consumer behavior in digital contexts.
As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.
Typical wage range: $110k - $125k. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
