Media Molecule – Senior Producer
We are Media Molecule, a multi-award winning game developer and part of the wider PlayStation Studios group. We have a history of creating outstanding games such as LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway and most recently, the BAFTA Award winning Dreams. It's a fantastic time to join us as we embark on our next adventure, defining and executing the vision for our next project and settling into our gorgeous, newly refurbished studio in central Guildford. We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Senior Producer, You'll be responsible for scheduling deliverables, tracking progress towards product goals and communicating the status of your project area to the wider team.
Responsibilities:
• Supporting a cross disciplinary Pod, working alongside the game development team leads to manage the planning and delivery milestone content.
• Responsible for key areas of the project you will be partnering closely with the craft leads to deliver on project goals and deliverables.
• Responsible for producing realistic production schedules, in coordination with team leads and key stakeholders.
• Organising regular product reviews with stakeholders and team leads, handling feedback and deadline impacts.
• Supporting the team with production processes, using a blend of agile, waterfall, and other project management methodologies.
• Tracking and updating on the project progress, producing status reports and team updates.
• Working closely with your line manager and the wider production team, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, critical dependencies and risk mitigation strategies.
What we're looking for….
• Experienced in project management using Jira, Miro, Confluence or other related tools.
• Experience of planning multiple projects from conception through to completion with a mixed-discipline team of creative people.
• Experience of sprint and milestone management, proactively resolving impediments to project delivery.
• Experience working in the games industry on AAA titles
• Able to set tangible and achievable project goals based on resources available.
• Able to work with multiple stakeholders of different experience levels and crafts to effectively coordinate deliverables.
• Proactive, self-organised and able to work independently.
This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week in the studio.
