Santa Monica Studio is seeking a Project Manager on the Studio Operations team to support special projects. The Studio Operations Team at Santa Monica Studio is the backbone of studio life and culture. Overseeing responsibilities like new hire onboarding, events and engagements, contracts and vendors, and everything in between, our main goal is to maintain and continuously elevate the best-in-class studio experience. We are seeking an experienced and self-driven individual to join our team as a Project Manager.
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the success of special projects within the studio, including onsite activities and project leadership support. This individual is a proactive problem-solver who anticipates needs and takes initiative without waiting for direction. Collaborating closely with the studio operations manager, studio directors, and project leadership, they ensure that every studio offering aligns seamlessly with our brand and upholds the exceptional standards we are committed to maintaining.
Responsibilities
• Must be available for hybrid or fully onsite work
• Assist in managing daily studio operations in coordination with the Studio Operations team
• Work closely with project leadership to prioritize tasks and manage scheduling needs
• Oversee technical A/V support for hybrid meetings in partnership with Studio IT
• Collaborate with the Studio Operations team to plan and execute internal onsite events
• Provide support on existing projects that require cross-functional collaboration within the Studio Operations team
• Partner with Leads, Managers, Directors, and Producers on special projects to drive successful execution
Requirements
Project Management Craftsmanship
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of project management processes
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining workflow consistency and quality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel for data analysis, tracking, and reporting
Communication & Collaboration
• Ability to operate with urgency while maintaining clear and effective communication
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate seamlessly across product development and management teams
• Experience working with high-performing creative teams, demonstrating the ability to foster strong partnerships in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong conflict resolution and mediation skills, with a proven ability to navigate challenges, mitigate risks, and remove roadblocks to ensure project success
Preferred Experience
• 5+ years of experience in project management within a creative environment, with a strong focus on implementing methodologies that enhance workplace efficiency and experience
• Experience in supporting C-level executives
